David is an Investment Principal at Crossfin with more than 8 years of investment and advisory experience. He is involved across the full investment lifecycle, including the analysis of new investment opportunities, transaction execution, portfolio management, group strategy and exit planning. Since joining Crossfin in 2022, David supported the unbundling of iKhokha out of Adumo and the subsequent sales of both Adumo and iKhokha, drove the execution of the Crossfin Singapore capital raise, and led the deal processes for the group's investments into mypinpad and Unitey. He has also been involved in various group restructurings, including the consolidation of 5 subsidiaries into the Akelo group, and serves as a board observer at mypinpad, Unitey and VantagePay.

Prior to Crossfin, David gained corporate finance experience in financial modelling, valuations, due diligence and M&A before joining African Alliance, a boutique investment bank, where he focused on private equity investments and advisory work within the financial services and retail sectors across Sub-Saharan Africa. David holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) from Stellenbosch University and is a CA(SA), having qualified with Deloitte Johannesburg in 2017.
